SUNDAY - 05.08.12

It's official! It's Team Lahee's day today! boy did we have lots of fun editing our Cam&Lighting video... when i mean fun, you obviously know i'm being sarcastic. so yes. fun. right. We met at Serangoon mrt at 11am today just to be sure that we would have enough time to finish our Cam&Lighting and also to do our other assignments. Turns out that we didn't even have the time to complete our Cam&Lighting... Although we managed to do all the cutting and editing of the lightings. Which was i guess good enough? Considering the fact that we spent too much time on the cutting of the scenes haha. 

we had a lot of fun talking about others and gossiping and stuff like that... Camwhoring around and such. It was really fun though :) Got to know Cheryl a bit more :)

CHERYLCEPTION!

After much camwhoring and frustrations over our assignments, we finally decided to leave the rest of the editing to poor Firdaus :( Damn i feel bad for him... I wonder how will he survive the night with all these assignments :(

So basically, after that we went to Texas chicken to have our dinner and thats when Cheryl and Firdaus fell in love with Texas Chicken for the first time. HAHA! I also find it quite amazing how Cheryl and Firdaus never or hardly came to Nex before... Because Serangoon is quite happening i guess... We ate, talked and gossiped about people, happening stuffs... and... stuffs. so we kinda had a lot of fun and laughter while bitching around i guess? LOL

We also shared lots of secrets and got to know about each other a little more. Guess we are really maturing in our friendships, can't believe that we only have 3 years to see each other, and BAM! we graduate just like that. Sad huh? I really do treasure my poly friends so much since i'm always the quite one in my school. I hardly have any friends in secondary school, yeah, you can say that i'm pretty much a forever alone kinda guy in secondary school who only goes crazy with my best friend keith. lol, sad huh? that's why i really treasure my poly friends more than my secondary ones... I'm just being honest here, and like i said, it's kinda sad to say that i only have 3 years to see them in poly, and then i don't know whether we'll even care about each other like we are right now... But i still love my poly friends, i will never EVER forget them :')

No, but seriously, i'm getting emotional here... haha. oh wellz...

That's basically what we did for the whole night. Just sat in Texas Chicken til 10+ and then head home right after. Went home, took a shower and webcammed with Firdaus and Cheryl YET... again. haha! I guess we're really crazily awesome LOL.

3.08.12 - Animation... Animation EVERYwhere

I wish my fridays were like my old fridays where i didn't have to go to school and i could just stay home all day and SLEEP. But nooooo, now that our final assignments are due next week, i don't even have time to sleep for 12 hours straight like i used to. 
Where have those days gone too... 
So as of now, the two biggest assignments due is our 60 seconds show reel for Cam&Lighting and our animation, in which i have already used 148 pages to animate like 13 seconds of my final project. UGH. We are seriously killing the earth. poor earth :( -pats- 
I have to seriously make full use of my time... 
Today, i promised myself to wake up earlier so that i can continue stressing myself over my animation. I also asked Cherie to accompany me to the animation lab in the afternoon. However, i failed to wake up at around 11 so that i can reach school at around 1+pm no matter the amount of calls from Cherie and the amount of times my alarm clock rang. This is extremely stupid. Reasoning? I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH FRICKIN SLEEP. So I have this thing where i always wake up late on fridays since i do not have school and since i'm always deprived of sleep. Anyways, i finally woke up at 1:30pm and realized that i have kept Cherie waiting for nearly 2 hours, and i have no idea why she came to school that early. LOL. Oh and by the way, the nasi lemak stall beside the chicken rice stall in Makan Place is frickin' good. Like, heavenly. OK...


After having lunch with Cherie, we headed down to the animation lab. Animating another, let's say, 30+ frames was HELL. I kept drawing and drawing and drawing, but i'm pretty satisfied with the 13 seconds i animated so far. I hope i get my A for this assignment. It's not easy being an animator. I really do feel every animators pain now :'( I'll post a video on Facebook, Twitter and other sites when i officially complete my animation :D (Which i don't think i will)


Headed home with Cherie under the rain and i fell along the way while we were walking into Ourspace because of the slippery floor and my slippers -.- damn it. 
And yes! While i was walking through Nex to the interchange, i saw this:

I'm so gonna be the first one in line to get it :D -Fan boy mode activated-
Yeah, that's about it! I went home and i am currently hooked onto my computer :D GOODNIGHT!

01.08.12 - Starting August off with a big day!

HELLO MY WONDERFUL FRIENDS WHO ARE READING THIS (Which i doubt none of you will, click, on this link... ok) 


and of course, hello august! THIS. IS. MY. MONTH. 
My birthday's this month and i have always wondered how my birthday will be like when i'm around my poly friends, not my secondary friends. Yes, i have tons of bad experiences back in secondary school. Anyways, I started august off today by filming our Cam&Lighting show reel. It was really fun i guess, lots of bloopers and deleted scenes, lots of behind the scene footages too :D Guess words can't really express how i feel about today! It was really tiring but fun at the same time! So here are some pictures:

Well, we're technically not done yet since we still have the editing left to do. -sad face-

Cheryl and I then broke fast with Firdaus and had dinner @ Makan Place! 

We then headed down to Block 50 to help Josh's team with their shoot. It took really really long so i just used my macbook and talked to Ming Jun, Sufyan and Regina, and for some reason, Sufyan and MJ kept laughing their asses off HAHA! Their laugh was just CONTAGIOUS lol. 

That was all! We took the final scene at 10:30pm and then headed home, WITHOUT THE FRICKIN HUGE AS CAMERA! >:D Yeah, because we left it in our main classroom. Problem? 

That's just another day in a life of a DVFX student, yeah, it's pretty tiring especially when all your assignments are due on the same week. =V=

31.07.12 - Creepy Pasta much?

I have to say that the girls in my class are really really talented in making people up. Like caking people with make up and stuff. Like literally, ALL of them are pros at it. Just look at this:

HAHA! We had to do a 60 second show reel for Cam&Lighting's final assignment. It's pretty difficult considering the fact that it is only 60 seconds and we have so much to film. We didn't really wanted to follow what Mr. Lau said about not caring too much about the plot because we were most probably too ambitious. haha! 

So, Team LAHEE! Made up of me, Cheryl and Firdaus, came out with a very ridiculous but entertaining plot about how Dora the explorer meets Jigsaw from saw in Amnesia. Pretty complicated huh? Yeap :) We plan to make the show reel as scary as we can but with a little humour to it :) So it's kinda like a horror-comedy type of genre. 

and yes... Firdaus had to put on all this make-up just to be in the Jigsaw like video where he says 'I wanna play a game' and such.

We didn't really do any filming today. All filming's to be done tomorrow! Except for Firdaus's solo Jigsaw tape in which we used our macbook's to record in. :)

                    Firdaus and Cheryl had to leave earlier, so i just continued doing my animation, which turned out pretty fine. Erwin said that my animation was looking good, except for the jump timings. He said the jumps can't be timed exactly the same, and i'm like, well, this IS animation, and i'm animating a rice sack/bean bag... why not? Oh well, that's how Erwin rolls. roll... roll.... roll... LOL

After animation, at around 6pm, i had my dinner with trevor, Josh, Ming Jun, Regina and i forgot who else. My minds pretty much screwed up right now. I'm always blogging at unearthly timings. 

Anyways, after dinner, we headed to block 50 to help Josh's team with their filming. Since they helped us with ours too (: and i had to play the bodyguard who gets killed by Jeremy. Yes, i always play the bodyguard. I still remember playing the bodyguard for Jason's production LOL. WHY AM I ALWAYS THE BODYGUARD. Well, i guess it really did helped my acting skills, so, haha, yeah (: 

At around 8pm or so, they all abandoned me in one of the classrooms in level 5 and i pretty much freaked out. Ya know... the rumors about block 50 and such... Well, i personally do not believe it since i'm a christian, but it's still very freaky. okay, shall not go into detail about it. I just did my scenic sketches and yay! i completed two sceneries haha! Not much of a big deal, but hey, in times like this, this is pretty much a big achievement. (: 

We all went home at around 9:30pm and I HAD TO CARRY THIS HEAVY SHITTY CAMERA WHICH WEIGHED ABOUT 100003042342342351024124 KG BACK HOME. DAMN HEAVY YOU KNOW?! KNOW?! EH?! 

But at least i bought myself a decent supper to treat myself i think? 

well, thats all for today i guess. I hope i get a good rest and not die tomorrow. D:
